Hillingdon Libraries and Tilt present London Liming: where spoken word meets carnival
This event offers performances, spoken word, storytelling, drinks and DJs under one roof.
Featuring poetry and spoken word from John Agard, Jay Bernard, Thomas Wolfe and Katie Lou, a live art performance by Stacy Makishi, storytelling by Sally Pomme Clayton with cellist Emma Clare, hosting by Melanie Abrahams, and Reggae, Dance, Soca, Brazilian, and summer party tunes by DJ: Jamie Renton. The event features local poets from Harefield, Uxbridge, Southlands, Hayes and Gypsy Rose Poetry (Charlotte Baldwin) Little Table & Pot of Tea in the Courtyard.
